Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis in Madurai. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience in accounting and finance. The role requires expertise in Tally Prime and GST Filling, and it provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as part of a small yet efficient team. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Tally Prime (Mandatory skill) is essential for all accounting records management and compliance. Experience with GST Filling (Mandatory skill) is crucial for the accurate preparation and submission of tax returns. Advanced Excel skills are required for complex financial analysis and data manipulation tasks. Familiarity with QuickBooks enhances your capability to manage and report financial activities efficiently. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics can significantly streamline accounting operations and reporting. Understanding of financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Strong analytical skills to identify trends, solve problems effectively, and improve financial processes. Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports. Roles and Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries. Conduct regular GST filings and tax compliance activities to ensure timely submission of required documents. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to rectify any discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes to support strategic business decisions. Generate financial statements and reports that provide valuable insights for senior management. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditors' inquiries promptly. Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
