About the RoleAs an Overseas Education Counselor at an international organisation, you will guide students in choosing the right universities and programs, assist with applications and documentation, and provide visa and scholarship support.You'll stay updated on global education trends and help students make informed decisions to achieve their international academic goalsResponsibilities- Counsel students and parents on study destinations, programs, career paths, and university options.- Conduct detailed profile assessments to recommend best-fit courses and universities.- Guide students in preparing applications, including SOPs, LORs, resumes, and required documentation.- Ensure timely submission of all applications and maintain accuracy across all documents.- Provide basic guidance on visa requirements, financial documents, and scholarship opportunities.- Maintain consistent follow-ups with students and parents throughout the counseling and application process.- Address queries promptly and offer clear, reliable information at every stage.- Stay updated on global education trends, changing admission requirements, and university deadlines.- Maintain student records, trackers, and progress reports using CRM and internal tools.- Coordinate with university representatives and internal teams for seamless student processing.Qualifications- 5–6 years of proven experience in overseas education counseling.- Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of major study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal counseling skills.- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple student profiles simultaneously.- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and application submission.- Student-centric mindset with patience and empathy.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, application portals, and basic MS Office tools.- Student-centric mindset with patience and empathy.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Perks and Benefits- Competitive full-time salary with performance-based incentives/bonus structure.- Opportunities for professional development, training, and certifications in overseas education counseling.- Exposure to global universities and international education networks.- Supportive team culture with mentorship from senior counselors.
