Azure DevOps Engineer

with a strong background in implementing, managing, and automating CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure cloud platforms, DevOps best practices, and modern development workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage

CI/CD pipelines

to automate build, test, and deployment processes.Develop and manage

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure using

Azure services

like Azure DevOps, App Services, Kubernetes, Azure Functions, etc.Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate DevOps solutions across the SDLC.Implement and maintain secure and scalable

Azure cloud environments .Manage source control systems (e.g.,

Git

in Azure Repos or GitHub).Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure using tools like

Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights .Ensure best practices for

release management , including blue-green deployments and rollbacks.Automate repetitive tasks using

PowerShell, Python , or similar scripting tools.Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and DevOps advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Skills and QualificationsMandatory Skills:Strong expertise in

Azure DevOps

tools, including Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts.Experience with

CI/CD

workflows and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred).Proficiency in writing and managing

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.Hands-on experience with

containerization

and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).Strong scripting and automation skills in

PowerShell, Bash , or Python.In-depth understanding of

networking, security, and compliance

within Azure environments.Knowledge of version control systems, particularly

Git .Experience with

monitoring and alerting tools , such as Azure Monitor and Prometheus.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with

serverless technologies , such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps.Understanding of

microservices architecture

and deployment patterns.Knowledge of

application build and release management

best practices.Certification in

Azure (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400)

or DevOps-related fields.Experience with

database migrations

and version control tools like Liquibase or Flyway.

EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Self-motivated and eager to learn emerging technologies.Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
