Job Summary:

As a

Mechanical Sourcing Engineer , you will be responsible for leading the sourcing of mechanical components and materials for new and ongoing projects. You will work closely with R&D, Project Management, and suppliers to ensure that products meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives, especially for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. This role requires strong project analysis, supplier management, and teamwork capabilities to optimize sourcing options and supplier performance.

Market Analysis: Conduct project analysis for insightful, well-structured sourcing options and opportunities.

Supply chain management: Establish metrics and tools to manage overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability, cost and quality improvement.

Team Work: Work with RD & Project management teams to identify, select, and engage with supplier to ensure market and cost competitiveness for NPI projects

Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

: 6+ years of experience in mechanical sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and sourcing strategies for NPI projects.

Our factory is located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. The job involves frequent travel to visit suppliers and our office in Noida. Candidates with their own transportation are preferred.
