Position- Sr. Die Design Engineer

Industry- Forging, Casting, and Machining Manufacturing & Solutions Provider

Location- Ghotawade, Mulshi (Pune)

Qualification- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making / related field; an advanced.

Job Profile-

  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in hot forging die design.
  • Expert in CAD design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX) and forging process simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy, forging processes, and die material selection for high-wear environments.
  • Collaborate with production, toolmaking, and quality teams to troubleshoot die performance issues and propose engineering changes.
  • Oversee new product development through process feasibility studies, strip layout, and force calculation for different forging operations.
  • Manage documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and change logs per industry and safety standards.
  • Stay current with new developments in die design technology, forging simulation, and industry best practices.
