Job Description: Work on Embedded Firmware projects as a member ofvarious Engineering & Design and /or Testing teams for newproduct development quality improvement and sustaining engineeringin collaboration with Lead Engineers and Technical Leads.Understand and draft firmware application requirement for theprojects. Perform the project design and development activitiesreview and get approvals for project artifacts from lead engineersand technical leads. Design and develop Firmware Modules integrateit with embedded device. Design and develop high level and detaileddesign unit/module test cases test plans & reports. Conductdesign verification review process. Prepare / review projectdocumentation. Coordinate Firmware / software developmentactivities. Interact with other design team members to meet andoptimize product design requirements. Develop / implement debug andtest softwares for embedded devices and systems analyze and enhanceefficiency stability and scalability of embedded system resourcesoptimize I/O performance. Develop Product Domain Knowledgeparticipate / conduct in team meetings and Knowledge SharingSessions. Take responsibility for multiple tasks in multipleprojects simultaneously. Report / communicate project progress tostakeholders periodically. Adherence to CMMi / ISO qualityprocess.

Device driverdevelopment: Exposure with Kernel and bootloaderprogramming nice to have. Expert in handson development andtroubleshooting on embedded targets using test &measurement equipment like Digital Oscilloscope Protocol Analyseretc. Experience with MISRA C standards Minimum C 11 and abovestandards. Exposure with static code analyzing tool such asCoverity and/or PCLint. Experience in analyses methods like FMEADFMEA and similar. Familiarity with Software version control (SVN)and Bug / Defects tracking systems devOps would be an addedadvantage Familiarity with software development process Qualitysoftware development with focus on code review unit and integrationtesting etc. Experience of Unit and Integration testing performancemeasurement Debugging and analysis of the assigned issuesReengineering of existing code for reuse with requiredmodifications and associated unit/integration testing.

Requirements: : BachelorsDegree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication /Instrumentation Engineering or M. Sc. Electronics with 4 Years ofrelevant experience using C / C for embedded firmware development.Excellent understanding of Object Orientated Programming (OOPs)concepts. Excellent understanding of Embedded design life cycle Newproduct development process & experience of working withglobal teams. Excellent theoretical & practical embeddedsoftware design skills 8/16/32 bit Microcontroller / Microprocessorbased design. Experience with one or more b OS/RTOS is desiredFreeRTOS Experience with one or more Communication Interfaces& Protocols Ethernet: UDP / TCP/IP RS232/485 Experiencewith one or more Industrial Protocols MODBUS ProfiBus Ethernet IPOPCUA
