The ISS Market Intelligence (MI) business provides critical data, insight, and workflow solutions to global asset managers, insurance companies and distributors. Through its combination of proprietary integrated datasets, in-depth global research and trusted executive engagement, ISS MI delivers solutions that drive strategy and data-driven decision making across a wide range of financial products.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in SQL, business intelligence tools, visualization libraries and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions.

Responsibilities

Understand business processes, underlying data architecture and design/redesign, develop/refactor/migrate/upgrade business intelligence reports and dashboards. Microsoft SQL Server – Authoring high quality T-SQL programs. Provide technical support to business users of above systems. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and technical teams. Willingness to learn and work on different technologies and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Overall ~3-5 years of experience working on SQL and BI tools - SSRS, Sisense, python libraries. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server. Proficiency is writing complex, dynamic SQL queries, optimization, and performance tuning. Willingness to work on multiple BI tools and data visualization libraries for dashboard and reports development. Familiarity with programming languages like python. Strong communication skills. Self-starter and quick learner. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing and complex environment. Flexible and willing to work in 11/12 to 8/9 pm timings.

Good to have :

Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data. Experience in Java script/.NET. Experience in React development. Maintain a proactive focus on fostering business growth by recommending innovative solutions. Basic familiarity with development methods and processes such as Agile Scrum.
