Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled SAP Central Finance Consultant to join our team, responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Central Finance solutions for REHAU. This role requires strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Central Finance, with a solid understanding of finance and accounting processes. The consultant will work closely with finance key users to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment and user adoption.
Key Area of Responsibility
Solution Design and Configuration
Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, analyze current finance processes, and design an SAP Central Finance solution tailored to their needs.
Configure SAP Central Finance and associated SAP S/4HANA modules to ensure seamless integration with existing financial systems.
Develop and document functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
Data Migration and Reconciliation
Conduct data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate financial data into SAP Central Finance.
Use SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) for real-time data replication and ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Perform data validation, testing, and reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial information within the Central Finance system.
Testing and Support
Lead and conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify and resolve issues.
Support clients during the cutover and go-live phases, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
Documentation and Training
Prepare comprehensive documentation, including process guides, user manuals, and configuration documentation for client teams.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders, enabling them to utilize SAP Central Finance effectively.
Develop and deliver training materials, ensuring client teams are proficient with the new system.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
Serve as a trusted advisor to finance and IT teams, helping them understand SAP Central Finance capabilities and value.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders on status updates, project risks, and any action items.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Central Finance solutions are aligned with broader business processes.
Continuous Improvement
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to optimize financial processes.
Stay up-to-date with SAP updates, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve SAP Central Finance offerings.
Experience
Minimum 8yrs (post qualification) of functional & technical implementation experience of SAP FI/CO/COPA/PCA in a Mfg environment
Basic experience of SAP Central Finance implementation including AIF resolution
Working knowledge of SLT, MDG and similar cFIN add ons
Experience with ABAP Object-Oriented programming will be an advantage
Candidates with work/client experience onsite in International environment (Europe/USA) across different cultures would be preferred
