This group provides engineering services for facilities which includesbut not limited to data centers, manufacturing, commercial, food & consumer product, and aviation.We are looking for an experienced and energetic structural engineer to join our growing Global Facilitiesteam in Mumbai office to lead and support structural design activities on projects mainly in NorthAmerica region.The successful candidate will report to the department manager and will assist inbuilding the structural team to support future facility design projectsResponsible for analysis and design of various super structures and foundations forindustrial facilities.o Responsible for design of site grading, roads, pavements and drains.o Preparing detail design calculation report and reviewing the detail drawings and layouto Geotechnical report review, analysis and provide comments/clarificationso Review of equipment vendor drawings and fabrication drawings.o Capture internal client requirements and if needed, advise them regarding structural/civilsystems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.o Coordinate with other disciplines, client(s) and other stake holder(s) to develop a clash freesystem design.o Responsible to manage the assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget.o Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects andorganization.o A committed team player able to work on own initiative.o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.o Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accuratework.Tools:o Exposure to any design software/tool like STAAD Pro, Risa 3D, SAFE, ETABs, etc.o AutoCADo Knowledge of Navisworks will be added advantageo Knowledge of REVIT (Structural) or AutoCAD Plant 3D will be an added advantage.o Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNotQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Masters in StructuralEngineering an added advantage.o Good analytical and problem-solving skillso Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in Civil/Structural design for industrialfacilities.o Understanding of codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, IBC, AISC etc.) and its applicability forpractical design of industrial facilities.o Dynamic personality, eager to learn and interested in a stable commitment.Job
