This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 6 years Location: Pune JobType: full-time We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Consultant with 6+ years of experience in ABAP development, including hands-on involvement in at least 2 end-to-end implementation projects and 2 support projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with functional and business teams. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions in line with business requirements. Participate in full-cycle SAP implementation activities, including requirement gathering, development, testing, and post-go-live support. Provide L2/L3 support for SAP ABAP issues in support environments. Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (RICEF), and user exits. Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. Optimize and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs for performance enhancements. Ensure adherence to SAP coding standards and best practices. Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP development experience. Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects and 2 support projects. Strong expertise in Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, and User Exits. Hands-on experience with SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms. Knowledge of Data Dictionary, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services. Familiarity with OData services and ABAP on HANA (preferred). Experience in performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs. Understanding of SAP module integration points (SD, MM, FI, PP). Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: SAP ABAP Certification (optional but preferred). Experience with S/4HANA environments. Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 integration is an added advantage.
