Job Summary:


We are looking for a talented Design System Lead to join our dynamic team.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about creating and maintaining design systems that drive consistency and scalability across all digital products.


As the Design System Lead, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement design standards, guidelines, and best practices. You will play a key role in shaping the overall user experience by ensuring that all design elements align with the brand's vision and objectives.


Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and Maintain the Headless Design System

- Define the vision, architecture, and long-term strategy for a headless design system that can be customized and implemented across multiple brands while remaining scalable and future-proof.

- Design and develop reusable, brand-agnostic UI components that can be easily adapted and customized for different brands and platforms, ensuring consistency and flexibility.

- Build and manage a comprehensive, headless pattern library and style guide that supports adaptive interfaces and is accessible to all product teams.

- Oversee the integration of the design system across various adaptive interfaces, ensuring it can dynamically adjust to different devices, screen sizes, and user contexts.

- Ensure the design system supports seamless integration across different platforms and brands, maintaining consistency while allowing for brand-specific customizations.

- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the headless design system components are effectively translated into flexible, adaptive code that can be tailored for different brands and platforms.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the design system meets the diverse needs of multiple brands and adaptive interfaces.

- Advocate for the headless design system across the organization, encouraging its adoption and consistent usage by all relevant teams, especially in a multi-brand environment.

- Develop clear, comprehensive documentation for the headless design system, including usage guidelines, design principles, and technical specifications that cater to multi-brand and adaptive interface needs.

- Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to teams using the design system, ensuring they understand how to effectively implement and customize it for different brands and interfaces.

- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance on creating adaptive and multi-brand-ready components, and supporting their professional development in these areas.

- Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation within the design team and across the organization, especially in the context of creating a flexible, adaptive design system.

- Continuously improve and evolve the headless design system based on feedback, technological advancements, and changing needs of various brands and adaptive interfaces.

- Ensure that the design system is inclusive and accessible across all brands and interfaces, adhering to best practices and standards in accessibility.

- Regularly report on the progress and impact of the headless, adaptive design system to key stakeholders and the broader organization.

- Communicate the design system’s goals, progress, and successes, especially in the context of its multi-brand and adaptive interface capabilities, to senior leadership and other relevant parties.
