Roles and ResponsibilitiesTo work in the quality team with an aim to improvise processes, products, co-ordinate QC inspections and quality auditsTo develop, maintain and update a quality manual for apparel manufacturing processesThe QA will be responsible for quality from the start of the manufacturing process to dispatch of goods and generation of the GRN from the clientTo ensure the 4-point checking system and fabric testing requirements are being followed at the fabric checking stageTo observe and survey layering orders, first marker checklists, cutting accuracy and summary reportsTo inspect the daily production reports, rejection reports and audit the processes periodically to ensure accuracy of data and use it in process improvementsTo ensure that fabrics, accessories, packaging material, and other inputs conform with the required standardsTo conduct in-line, mid-line and final inspections before the client's inspection team arrives with an objective to ensure the quality of pieces and packagingTo conduct trainings for finishing quality checkers, line masters and other staffers involved in manufacturing processes to ensure consistency in qualityTo work as a team with the designer, merchandiser, sampling and production teamsDesired Candidate ProfileA degree in garment technology/ textile technologyExperience of at least 5 yearsGood with English and Hindi communicationTeam playing attitude is a must
