Our mission is to simplify and streamline international trade operations, making it easier for businesses to navigate the complexities of global commerce.Job Description:We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to build the backbone services and platform for Awani Tech.What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable):A hobby programmer with a passion for coding and continuous learning.Must be flexible and adaptable to different technologies and programming languages.Ability to understand fuzzy business problems and develop simple, effective solutions.Demonstrated ability to make pragmatic decisions in tech choices, focusing on practical solutions that best meet business needs.Eager to work in an environment with direct exposure to on-ground business.Enthusiastic about exploring and working with open source software.Important Note:

We are not looking for candidates with skills focused solely on algorithms and data structures. We value practical problem-solving abilities and flexibility over theoretical knowledge alone.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.Solve complex business problems with simple, scalable solutions.Work with various technologies and adapt to new ones as needed.Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.Qualifications:2-4 years of software development experience.Proficiency in one of the programming languages - Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments and RESTful APIs.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
