Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Corporate IT team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, cloud environments (Azure), and disaster recovery solutions. This role involves managing critical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the organization’s IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain corporate IT network infrastructure (Cisco routers, switches, SDWAN, Firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
- Administer cloud platforms and services (Azure), including IaaS, VPC/Vnet, and cloud monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to plan and implement cloud environments and resources.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
- Monitor network and system performance using tools like DataDog and OpManager.
- Support disaster recovery and high availability solutions for the organization’s infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation and best practices for cloud and network environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation and assist with after-hours support when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and collaborate with internal teams for fast issue resolution.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and network design.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches (IOS, NX-OS), VPNs, SD-WAN, and security products (ASA, NGFW, Firepower).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and related networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, OpManager, and related technologies.
- CCNA, CCNP, Azure, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse internal and external teams.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance, security, and availability.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
This role requires a proactive, organized individual with a solid understanding of network and cloud infrastructure, along with the ability to continuously improve systems and processes.
