As a Principal Owner you will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, technical operations, client services, marketing, sales, and research to set and facilitate execution of tactical roadmap priorities, , provide business input and direction to product development, and communicate product updates to internal and external customers. Responsibilities  Partner with the cross-functional teams to ensure that the product stories and epics meet market and customer requirements. Continuously collect and interpret market needs from clients, internal users, through market research, and synthesize findings to assist product leadership with strategies. Ability to break down complex product requirements into actionable user stories  Contribute to road map planning processes based on subject matter expertise within your product purview. Deliver product specific data and insights based on analysis to inform product and operations business reviews Collaborate with marketing to develop product launch and sales training materials that articulate product value and differentiation to the target market  Ensure scrum processes and ceremonies for engineering are followed (prioritize the backlog, create stories, coordinate and oversee release planning and execution, ensure process improvements through retrospectives, and track velocity/burndown)  Develop cross-functional relationships working closely with product engineering, support, marketing, sales, and data science teams to ensure that internal teams have access to product information needed to succeed in their roles  3-5 years experience Demonstrated ability to balance longer-term strategic thinking against more tactical execution of shorter-term deliverables  Ability to translate needs and requirements from internal and external stakeholders into a defined set of action plans Experience negotiating priorities, trade offs, and timelines for product initiatives  Excellent written and oral communications skills as well as comfort using those skills to drive change and alignment  Ownership mentality with strong initiative to achieve results  Ability to manage and maintain continuity in high paced and dynamic environments  Self-motivated and ability to motivate others  Excellent project management, prioritization and decision-making skills  Strong strategic analytic and problem solving skills with the ability to establish KPI frameworks and controls to achieve desired business outcomes What's Nice to Have    Experience with Jira or other lifecycle management systems or processes Experience working with big data, statistical analysis, applied mathematical skills Education Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
