Job Title:  Design Engineer- Primary (Substation) Work Location:  Abu Dhabi Interview Location : Chennai Experience:  6- 15 years Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical design of HV AIS/GIS substations (up to 765kV), including SLDs, GA drawings, and equipment layouts. Select and size primary equipment (CBs, CTs, PTs, isolators, surge arresters) per IEC/IEEE and utility standards. Design grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing systems to ensure safety and compliance. Coordinate with civil, secondary, protection, and external teams for design integration. Review vendor documents, support procurement, and participate in FATs and technical evaluations. Provide site support during construction and commissioning, resolving design-related issues. Qualifications: Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience:  6+ years in substation design
