Job Title - Senior Dev Ops Engineer - Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) SpecialistLocation - Bangalore (Yemalur)Years of experience -10 to 13 yearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer with specialized expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years of comprehensive Dev Ops experience with deep knowledge of containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, Helm and cloud-native technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can architect scalable solutions, mentor team members, and drive Dev Ops best practices across the organization while leading our Azure Kubernetes initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and implement enterprise-grade AKS clusters with multi-environment strategies (dev, staging, production)Lead the migration of legacy applications to containerized workloads on AKSDesign and implement advanced networking solutions including service mesh, Nginx ingress controllers, and network policiesEstablish AKS governance frameworks, resource quotas, and namespace strategiesImplement advanced AKS features including pod identity, cluster autoscaler, and virtual nodesDesign and implement comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, and JenkinsLead Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) initiatives using Terraform and ARM templatesDesign and manage artifact repositories and container registries with security scanningDevelop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployments. Build self-service platforms and developer tooling to accelerate application deliveryImplement comprehensive observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stackDesign and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for containerized workloadsAutomate operational tasks including backup strategies, patch management, and capacity planningImplement comprehensive security frameworks including Pod Security Standards, network policies, and admission controllersMentor Dev Ops engineers and provide technical guidance on best practicesCollaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud-native environmentsLead architectural reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements8-10 years of Dev Ops/AKS experience with strong focus on containerization and orchestrationExpert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes ecosystemExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub)understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, CRI-O)Proficient in scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash, Python, Go)Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns
