Position Overview:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team and take the lead in building and enhancing the user interface of our trading platform. As the primary frontend developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience, ensuring responsiveness, and handling dynamic data from thousands of securities in real-time.


Responsibilities:


- Collaborate with the backend engineering team to integrate APIs for real-time data from various sources.

- Lead the development of the frontend components, high level of optimization to achieve lowest latency, ensuring a smooth and responsive user interface.

- Implement features such as dynamic data visualization for multiple securities.

- Work closely with product managers and designers to translate design mockups into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.

- Optimize application performance for scalability and speed.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the platform's capabilities.

- Implement rule engines on real-time tick data (tick to trade within 10 millisecond)


Requirements:


•⁠ ⁠Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

•⁠ ⁠In-depth knowledge of React, TypeScript, NextJS, Websocket data handling and other web technologies.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with web-based trading platforms or financial applications is highly desirable.

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with APIs, especially those related to trading and financial data.

•⁠ ⁠Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•⁠ ⁠Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior frontend developers.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to thrive in a small team environment and take ownership of the frontend development process.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience with cloud-based development and deployment.

- Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
