Job Description:
Cavli Wireless is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cochin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design, with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality designs within strict timelines. As a PCB Design Engineer at Cavli Wireless, you will play a crucial role in the development of our next-generation cellular IoT solutions, contributing your expertise to the design and optimization of PCB layouts for our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
•PCB Design: Design and develop high-quality, manufacturable PCB layouts for cellular IoT devices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
•Component Selection: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select appropriate components for PCB designs, considering factors such as functionality, cost, and availability.
•Signal Integrity Analysis: Conduct signal integrity analysis to optimize PCB layouts for performance and reliability, minimizing signal distortion and noise.
•Design Validation: Perform thorough design validation testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of PCB designs, identifying and resolving any issues or deficiencies.
•Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including schematic diagrams, layout guidelines, and manufacturing specifications, to support the production and testing of PCB designs.
•Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in PCB design technology and methodology, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
•7-11 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in the field of cellular IoT or wireless communication.
•Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS.
•Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and industry standards (IPC, IEEE, etc.).
•Experience with signal integrity analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx, SIWave) is highly desirable.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
