Role Description: Software Developer (Python)

We are looking for a self-motivated Software Developer with expertise in Python programming language to join our Data Solutions team. As a Software Developer, the candidate is expected to understand a business problem, formulate possible approaches, design and then develop the solution for the problem.


Role and responsibilities

Proficient in developing Microservices using Python programming language.

Hands-on professional with in-depth knowledge of Python (Python3, Django, Flask).

Should have good problem solving skills and have sound knowledge of Data Structure & Algorithms.

Strong hands-on knowledge in microservices development using Python based frameworks e.g. Flask, Django is required along with security.

Should have good understanding of low-level and high-level application design.

Should have hand-on experience with various services and components of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.

Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle.

Strong knowledge of SQL and No SQL databases.

Deep understanding of API integration technologies in Java and Python.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins.


Technical skills requirements

  • Expertise in developing RESTful APIs using Python programming language
  • strong Knwoledge in SQL
  • Expert knowledge in Core Python, Python3, Django, Flask
  • Strong knowledge of data understanding & analysis.
  • Excellent team player and decent communication skills.


Nice-to-have skills

Candidate must have strong verbal as well as written communication skills.

Candidate must be self-motivated and self-driven to work against tight timelines.

Candidate must be a team player & have the ability to multi-task based on project needs.



Qualifications

  • At least 3-7 years of experience in Python. Should hold a good understanding of Python programming languages along with hands-on experience in Python, Django and Flask.
  • B.E./B.Tech.in Computer Science/ IT or MCA would be preferred. Bachelors/Masters/B. Tech/M. Tech in Engineering
