Job Description

:-The Electrical & Electronics Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical and electronic systems in a PVC/HDPE plant. The role includes managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, minimizing downtime, and improving plant efficiency through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance Management:Oversee the maintenance of electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and machinery used in PVC/HDPE manufacturing.Ensure the effective functioning of transformers, motors, switchgear, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other plant electrical/electronic systems.Utilities: Compressor, chillers, DG set, Spares Management, technically sound, Hands on Experience.Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime.Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for all electrical and electronic equipment failures.Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical/electronic equipment.Troubleshooting:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical/electronic issues in machinery and control systems.Team Supervision:

Lead and supervise a team of electricians, technicians, and engineers.Compliance:

Ensure all electrical installations meet safety regulations and industry standards.Automation Systems:

Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and other automation systems.Energy Management:

Monitor energy usage and recommend energy-saving measures.Vendor Coordination:

Work with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and new equipment procurement.Documentation:

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment manuals, and compliance documents.Budgeting:

Manage the maintenance department's budget and optimize costs. Training:

Train staff on electrical safety, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical/electronic maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in PVC/HDPE or similar industries.Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, control systems, and automation.Proven experience in team leadership and managing maintenance operations.Familiarity with safety regulations, including OSHA and NEC standards.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.Excellent project management and communication skills.Single Status/Family Status
