We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in the Pro Video & Pro Audio market. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in media technology and possess strong connections with key customers in the broadcast and post-production industry. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at capturing market share and achieving ambitious revenue goals in the Pro Audio and Pro Video sectors.
Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business opportunities and emerging markets within the broadcast and post-production domains.
Cultivate and expand the customer base by establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Customer Relationship Excellence:
Serve as the principal point of contact for high-value clients, delivering unparalleled customer service and addressing their needs with urgency and precision.
Develop and sustain long-term partnerships by deeply understanding clients’ business objectives and tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
Product Knowledge and Sales Pitches:
Gain a firm understanding of our products and solutions, and effectively pitch them to customers and prospects.
Exhibit a consultative sales approach to assess customer needs, negotiate pricing, forecast sales revenue, and maximize profitability.
Sales Pipeline and Revenue Generation:
Drive business development efforts to acquire new clients and achieve revenue targets.
Build and manage a sales pipeline, actively pursue leads, and move them through the sales cycle.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings.
Pre-Sales and Proposal Management:
Collaborate with the pre-sales and domain teams to run effective Proof of Concepts (POCs), review and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and generate accurate quotations and proposals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Relationship Building:
Work closely with internal teams and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Media Solutions, customers, and partners.
Provide valuable insights and feedback to the product team to influence the development of innovative products and enhancements.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Stay updated on market trends, acceptance, and emerging technologies to proactively capitalize on new opportunities.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Technology, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
Professional Experience:
At least 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the Pro Audio and Pro Video industry.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant business growth.
Extensive network of contacts within the broadcast and post-production industry.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the Pro Video & Pro Audio M&E industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong network of contacts within the broadcast and post-production industry.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
