Platform Engineering Manager
to lead our DevOps, infrastructure, and internal tools teams. In this role, you'll define and scale the platform architecture that powers our high-performance, high-availability systems across both cloud and on-premise deployments.

You'll be responsible for setting the strategy for CI/CD pipelines, observability, automation, security, and infrastructure reliability. You must have at least 7+ years of experience in platform/DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 2 years in a people or technical leadership role to be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead and grow the platform engineering team, which includes DevOps engineers, site reliability engineers, and infrastructure developers across geographies.
• Define and evolve WDTS's CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and environment provisioning strategies for both cloud-based and casino-deployed systems.
• Own and improve our cloud/on-premise infrastructure footprint, working with hybrid architectures (e.g., AWS, on-site servers, edge nodes).
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Develop and enforce observability standards (monitoring, alerting, SLOs/SLIs), and lead incident response and postmortem processes.
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure seamless build, test, deploy workflows and reduce lead time from code to production.
• Optimize and secure infrastructure for performance, scalability, redundancy, and compliance (e.g., for regulated gaming environments).
• Guide architectural decisions regarding deployment topologies, secrets management, data replication, and failover strategies.
• Establish governance for access control, environment segregation, and secure credentials handling.
• Track and manage infrastructure spend; optimize for cost without compromising reliability or compliance.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in platform/DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 2 years in a people or technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience supporting on-premise or edge deployments.
• Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring high-availability systems across multiple environments.
• Strong grasp of networking, service meshes, VPNs, and secure inter-service communication.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with developers, QA, product, and compliance teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — fluent in English, and the ability to clearly document architectures, processes, and decisions.
• Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting IoT or hybrid edge-cloud systems (especially in regulated or mission-critical industries).
• Exposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks relevant to gaming or financial industries (GLI, PCI-DSS, ISO
