Key Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other regulatory financial documents.
  • Oversee budget planning, analysis, and control, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and institutional policies.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to management for decision-making and long-term strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Review and improve financial processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial support for special projects, including infrastructure development and academic program expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial legislation and best practices, implementing necessary changes within the institution.
Qualifications :
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification from a recognized institute.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills :
  • Experience working in the education sector or non-profit organizations.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial data management.
