is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst with good Supply Chain, analytics and Optimization background to deliver solutions for complex supply chain problems of our global clients. You join a team that helps craft supply chain strategies for the world’s largest and most dynamic firms. You will work in small teams of analytical thinkers and supply chain experts with a passion for problem solving. - One should have worked on any one of the Supply Chain tools Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru, JDA Supply Chain Strategist, AIMMS SC Navigator or Optilogic

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis

Your primary responsibilities are to work with our clients to design, manage, and deliver analysis-driven, actionable supply chain network recommendations. Your primary role will be to review and validate data, build visualization charts/dashboards, build optimization models in tools like AIMMS SC Navigator, JDA Strategist, Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru or Optilogic, run scenarios, and develop output reports. Client and/or other team members can be in multiple geographies. Projects may also involve travel to client locations.

Business Analysis Responsibilities

Gather, understand, analyse, summarise and report client data by closely collaborating with client data teams.Build network optimization models according to specificationsDesign modelling approaches to answer strategic business questionsDevelop comprehensive output reports from optimization scenariosOwn the analysis and drive them to completion, involving the client and project manager as appropriateWork closely with the project manager to design, develop, and integrate material for client presentationsIdentify and communicate ways to improve analysis tools and techniquesLead and manage project teams and their activities; Identify and communicate issues that may impact project schedule or quality

Project & Client Expectation Management -

He should be able to build quality presentations on client proposals, able to effectively present to clients and convince on innovative ideas and also represent ORMAE in leading conferences across the globeEnsure that the solutions proposed by the team not only meet the customers' requirements but also has innovative thinking that other companies cannot provideBe more than a project manager by acting as a Consulting Partner for the ClientsIdentify the right projects for development as non-commercial company initiatives that will yield maximum benefit in the futureOnce lead is generated and kick-off meeting completed, take a leadership role in managing the customer relationshipDrive the project right from initial meeting/inquiries with the customer through contract stage, project delivery stage, UAT and Go-Live / CutoverPlay a proactive role in customer discussions by preparing/identifying required documentation prior and post the interactionDocument/assign responsibility to document business requirements, solution acceptance criteria, UAT test scriptsWork closely with the leadership team to define the solution contract for the customerEnsure high quality of deliverables at every stage of the project life cycle

Skills:

Exposure to Supply Chain Management is expected. One should have experience in building qualitative presentations and project management.

An ideal candidate will:

Hold a Master's degree or equivalent from a leading institutionFocus on Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related areas during under/postgraduate education is a plusShould possess 5-8 years of extensive experience in supply chain management, analytics, and optimizationPreferably 2 years of experience in using supply chain planning tools like SAP APO/ O9/ Kinaxis etc.Minimum 1 year experience in creating scripts for data analysis using Python, SQL or RMust have at least two years of experience with optimization modelling tools like Llamasoft/Coupa Supply Chain Guru, JDA Supply Chain Strategist, AIMMS SC Navigator or Optilogic for Network DesignPossesses strong expertise in logistics and capacity planningGood understanding of the supply chain domainStrong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to interact effectively with clientsShould possess strong Data interpretation skills & be proficient in Excel & PowerpointHave experience of working with teams in multiple geographies and culturesHave advanced skills in managing large data via relational databasesExperienced in utilizing data visualization tools like PowerBI and TableauManage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently and work well under tight timelinesPrevious experience in strategy or operations consulting, even if partial, is required
