Job Title: Senior Embedded Engineer/Architect

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Engineer/Architect with extensive experience in software design, development, and troubleshooting within embedded systems environments. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of crafting software designs, preparing comprehensive design documents, and demonstrating expertise in C/C++ programming languages. The candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems and projects, with hands-on experience in developing embedded middleware applications and firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop embedded software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.- Create and articulate software designs and prepare detailed design documents.- Utilize strong development experience in C/C++ programming to implement efficient and scalable embedded solutions.- Perform in-depth debugging and troubleshooting of technical issues, including memory-related issues, threading, etc.- Interface directly with customers to understand requirements, provide technical support, and address inquiries or concerns.- Execute projects involving C++ development with QT experience, particularly in HMI GUI development on devices.- Demonstrate technical expertise through presentations and walk-through sessions in customer workshops.- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies to meet evolving customer needs.- Experience in one or more industrial protocols such as RS485, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.- Familiarity with IoT protocols like MQTT, AMQP.- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols including Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in embedded systems development, with 12-17 years of relevant industry experience.- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.- Hands-on experience with embedded middleware applications and firmware.- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.- Previous experience in customer interfacing roles is mandatory.- Experience with QT for GUI development is highly desirable.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.- Located in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
