‍♀️Why we are hiring a Lead Unity Game Programmer


We at Pluto are crafting a world of interactive, fun, and creative experiences that spread across digital art, gaming, and merchandising. We are creating a world of diverse and fun characters, building community-focused casual and hyper-casual multiplayer games, animated experiences, and tools along with an incredibly passionate community.

We are seeking a mobile game programming lead to help develop a series of social Hyper-casual experiences for mobile. You will be responsible for creating robust and flexible multiplayer gameplay systems that will form the base to create a rich and fun player experience.


You will fit right in if you have:

  • Experience with leading 5-8 members teams in creating games with Unity
  • A strong understanding of C# and the ability to write high-performance optimized code
  • Been credited for the launch of at least 3 multiplayer games on the AppStore or PlayStore that were developed using Unity
  • 5+ years of hands-on Game Development experience
  • At least 2 games shipped and still running (current live-ops experience)
  • Experience with making UML diagrams
  • Worked with various APIs and SDKs and have integrated them into Unity
  • Demonstrated an ability to assist junior programmers with fixing bugs
  • The ability to solve complex problems using the best programming practices
  • A knack for guiding and nurturing a team of programmers
  • Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the latest gaming trends and technologies



‍♂️On an average day at Pluto, you will:

  • Work closely with the Game Director to design gameplay systems for your programming team to work on
  • Maintain Technical Design Documentation
  • Develop key multiplayer systems and features
  • Integrate online services into the game engine
  • Be involved in all areas of game development including Programming of Game Systems & Logic, User Interface, SDK Integrations, and Server Logic/Components
  • Perform code review and optimization and assist other programmers
  • Make sure gameplay systems and other tools are designed in a way that’s easy for Game Designers to work with



‍♂️It will be amazing if you also have

  • Experience with deploying servers on Amazon Web Services using GameLift, Cognito, Lambda, and DynamoDB functionalities
  • Experience in interacting with blockchain from Unity
  • A Steam library full of fun games
