Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer - Teamcity or Harness. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux. They will work closely with the team to ensure efficient deployment, automation, and maintenance of systems.


Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software development, and continuous integration
  • Proficient in system administration and Linux
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with deployment automation and orchestration tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are a plus
  • Proven experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.) and infrastructure
  • as code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control Git, Harness, TeamCity.
  • Understanding of network technologies (DNS, VPN, Firewall) and security protocols/practices.
  • Proficient in system monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience in database management (SQL and NoSQL) and data migration strategies.
