NCR VOYIX has earned the trust of businesses large and small — from the best-known brands around the world to your local favorite around the corner.System Test Engineer IVSystem Test Engineer duties and responsibilitiesTest and prove that the software meets major architectural requirementsProve for scalability and performance of a softwareEnsuring the quality of the system as a wholeWork with hardware/firmware/platform/application developers and validation engineersDevelop and automate tests for software validationPrepare file defect reports and report test progressLead, mentor a team consisting of Test EngineersCreate & review test planReview test strategies and see all the various kinds of testing like functional, performance etc., are getting coveredSystem Test Engineer requirements and qualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field10+ years of experience in Software Testing or similar role10+ years of experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environmentHave a deep understanding of QA and understand the uses and methods of testingExcellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, decisiveTeam player, Good time-management skills, Great interpersonal and communication skillsA minimum of 7 years of experience in software design and developmentDeep understanding of Computer Science fundamentalsStrong development, debugging and troubleshooting skillsGood understanding of test frameworksExcellent written, verbal communication skills. Able to work in teams and collaborative fashion.Languages/Technologies:Node.js using JavaScript, TypeScript, CypressBitbucket/JIRA/GIT WorkflowOperating Systems:LinuxWindowsExperience with continuous integration systems like JenkinsExperience with tools or languages like:DockerKubernetesGoogle Cloud Platform and AzureManual Testing & Writing and automating test scripts using automation toolsOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
