Position: Medical Advisor

Location: Delhi / Chennai


Responsibilities:

  • Functionally integrated into the medical affairs diabetes team, responsible for allocated activities.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate development of scientific and medical knowledge, striving to become a global specialist on assigned products/projects for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the pre-authorization of medico-marketing activities, including the development of promotional materials and API updates.
  • Cascade the global medical affairs strategy, including publication strategy, aligning with brand strategy set by the CBT/GPT to supported countries.
  • Provide medical and scientific support for key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) on product information.
  • Collaborate internally with colleagues across various functions such as Global Development, Regulatory, Safety, Marketing, Corporate Communication, and affiliates to ensure effective information flow and maintenance of key opinion leader relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Medical doctor with M.B.B.S and MD qualifications.
  • At least 2 year of clinical experience, preferably with additional pharmaceutical development/business experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical medicine, clinical research, and drug development.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical business practices, marketing, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Preferably, experience in authoring publications, delivering international medical presentations, and writing synopsis and protocols.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, dedication, and willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
