Hiring SAPBWHANA Consultant for one of our client in Pune.

Exp : 5 + Years

Work Location : Pune

1. SAP S4HANA Migration : coordinate and support BW on HANA system for end-to-end SAP S4 HANA brownfield migration.

2. Extractor remediations : identify BW extractors that will be impacted by S4 migration, review and test the remediations from Smartshift, and if needed, conduct manual custom code remediations as part of the S4HANA conversion process.

3. BW system connection : work with Basis on system preparation before S4 and connection validation post S4.

4. BW modeling and testing : assess, repair, and validate BW dataflows that could be broken by S4 migration, and thoroughly test them in multiple layers such as PSA, DSO, InfoCubes, HANA views and Tables in DataPlatform.

5. Assist in the testing of data load cycles through process chains and fix process chains, DTPs or transformations if repairs are needed.

6. Reporting validations : test Bex and WebI reports as well as Power BI integrations post S4, and ensure no functionality is messed up by S4 migration.

7. Collaboration : Work closely with SLB BW team to understand the current BW models and reporting functionalities. Coordinate with Basis and Security on validation of system connection and authorizations.

Qualifications and Requirements :

a) Minimum 2 brown field project cycles on BW on HANA system with S4 Migration.

b) Experience on identifying impacted BW extractors by S4 Migration.

c) Experience on reviewing and testing S4 impacted extractors (Generic, LO, Non-LO and master data extractors) by developing/enhancing.in BW dataflows to resume data loads without impacting delta loads.

d) Experience on code remediations in BW modeling and Bex query/WebI reports in BW on HANA system during S4 Migration.

e) Hands-on experience on identifying /creating CDS views based on SAP recommendations.

f) Experience on with HANA studio and HANA view creation.

g) Strong Knowledge of ABAP code including user exits, function modules and start/end/expert routines.

h) Cross-domain SAP knowledge in FICO, MM, SD, etc..

i) Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
