Job Title: Physics Teacher (Grades 9-12)

Job Summary:
Brindavan Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our faculty team for grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Physics, effective teaching strategies, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The Physics Teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the ICSE / ISC curriculum standards, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the CISCE curriculum for grades 9-12.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate technology and hands-on experiments to make learning physics engaging and accessible.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Address and manage any student behavior issues in accordance with school policies.
- Professional Development and Collaboration:
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborative planning activities.
- Stay current with developments in the field of physics education and incorporate best practices into teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall educational program.
- Communication:
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Provide clear and effective communication to students about expectations, assignments, and assessments.
- Engage in parent-teacher conferences and school events as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Teaching certification in the relevant subject area.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably within the CISCE curriculum framework.
- Strong understanding of Physics concepts and the ability to make them accessible to high school students.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
