These new innovationsenable our customers to leverage the agility of the public cloud for bothtraditional IT and cloud-native applications.What you’ll be doing:Leading a team of motivated engineers to build and review performbenchmarking requirements and metrics to ensure all of Flash Arrayproducts deliver the best performance on the platforms they run onResearching and developing performance benchmarking strategies fordifferent product features, come up with best practices for performanceplanning and collaborate with product managers, solutions and salesengineering to validate customer scenarios and requirements as neededProvide technical direction and mentoring to employees on your team andothers to ensure product quality and on-time deliverablesIf this describes you, let's talk You can take a part in changing how the worldworks with data.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE :MS in Computer Science or related technical field, BS with comparable experience12+ years of experience in system level performance analysis for servers, storage and databases.Work with architects and developers early in the SDLC to design scalable andperformance systems.Work with developers to improve algorithms, queries, caching strategies,concurrency models.Provide recommendations for code optimization.Identify performance risks in architecture (e.g., poor caching, chatty APIs, DBbottlenecks).knowledge of SAN i SCSI, NFS, SMB protocols.Strong experience with Linux systems (network configuration, storagestack, system settings, common command/utilities).Prior experience in Python and C++ is preferred.Prior experience with NAND flash and FIO are pluses.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; commitment to deliveringgreat software and releasing it efficiently and with increasing quality.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:Pure Innovation: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge and aspire to betrailblazers.Pure Growth: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contributeto something meaningful.
