Job Title:SAP BTP Lead (UI5 & CAPM) Experience:7 – 15 Years Locations:Bangalore | Hyderabad | Kolkata | Pune Job Type:Full-timeAbout the Role We are looking for a seasonedSAP BTP Technical Leadto drive our digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex business requirements and cloud-native solutions, leveraging the full power of theSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . As a Lead, you will not only write high-quality code but also architect scalable solutions, mentor a team of developers, and ensure we adhere to "Clean Core" principles usingSAP CAPMandSAP UI5 . Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture:Design and architect end-to-end cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using theCloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)andSAP UI5/Fiori . Technical Leadership:Lead a team of developers, conducting code reviews, ensuring best practices (CI/CD, Git strategies), and driving technical excellence. Development:Hands-on development of side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA, custom Fiori applications, and microservices. Integration:Oversee integration scenarios usingSAP Integration Suite(CPI) to connect BTP apps with On-Premise (S/4HANA, ECC) and 3rd party systems. Innovation:Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new BTP services (Build Process Automation, AI Core, HANA Cloud) and prototyping POCs. Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with functional consultants and business owners to translate functional specs into technical designs. Mandatory Skills (Must Haves) SAP BTP & CAPM:Extensive experience inNode.jsorJavabased CAPM development. Deep understanding of cds views, services, and event handlers. Frontend Mastery:Expert-level knowledge ofSAP UI5 , Fiori Elements, JavaScript (ES6+), XML views, and OData V2/V4 integration. Database:Strong proficiency inSAP HANA Cloud , HDI containers, SQLScript, and Core Data Services (CDS). Tools:Proficiency withSAP Business Application Studio (BAS) , VS Code, and BTP Cockpit administration. Security:Experience with XSUAA, BTP destination services, and role-based authentication. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Experience withSAP Build Process Automation(Workflow Management). Knowledge ofSAP RAP(Restful ABAP Programming) model. DevOps experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or SAP CTS+). Experience inS/4HANA Cloudimplementation projects. Experience & Qualifications 7 to 15 yearsof total IT experience with a strong background in SAP development. Minimum3+ yearsof dedicated experience in SAP BTP architecture and CAPM. Proven experience in aLeadorArchitectrole (managing at least 3-5 developers). Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Certification in SAP BTP or Fiori is a huge plus. Work Location Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, or Pune (Hybrid/Remote options available based on company policy).
