Position: Workday Functional Payroll ConsultantClient: One of our Prestigious client.Locations: Remote/Pune/HyderabadMode of hiring: Contract to hireExperience: 5+ YearsBudget: 21-23 LPANotice Period: 0-15 DaysNote: Hyderabad candidates should attend the face-to-face interview.No PF OverlapShare your CV : skill and experience:- 5+ years of Payroll experience, Serve as the #subjectmatterexpert (#SME) for #Workday #Payroll functionality and business processes.- Configure and maintain payroll setup including earnings, deductions, pay groups, tax elections, cost centres, and integrations with third-party vendors.- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to gather business requirements and deliver scalable payroll solutions.- Perform payroll-related testing for system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and Workday releases.- Troubleshoot payroll calculation issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data integrity.- Support bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.- Ensure adherence to payroll tax regulations, wage & hour laws, and internal controls.- Develop reports and dashboards related to payroll activities, audits, and compliance.- knowledge of external payroll providers (e.g., ADP) and support integrations.- Provide training and support to payroll and HR users as needed.- Experience with Workday modules such as Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, or Benefits is a plus.- Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, configuration details, and knowledge articles.- Partner with vendors, Workday support, and internal teams on issue resolution and optimization.- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues and system discrepancies.- Proven experience configuring and supporting Workday payroll processes and integrations.- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and functional designs.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- . Workday certification in Payroll or HCM is an added advantage
