Quality Control and Inventory Auditor

Ensure the highest standards of quality in the production and delivery of salt-based oral care products, complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining product consistency, safety, and effectiveness. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Quality Assurance Planning:**
- Develop and implement quality control (QC) procedures for salt oral care products.
- Create and manage quality control policies to meet regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO standards).
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to define product specifications and quality standards. 2. **Quality Inspection:**
- Oversee the testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Ensure the quality of ingredients and other raw materials used in oral care products.
- Conduct routine audits of production processes and manufacturing environments.
- Test product stability, efficacy, and safety, including handling consumer complaints and feedback. 3. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain detailed records of quality testing, inspections, and audits.
- Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports and internal QC documentation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, efficiency, and defect rates. 4. **Training and Team Management:**
- Provide training for production and QC staff on quality control practices and procedures.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Lead and manage QC personnel, ensuring adherence to operational standards and timelines. 5. **Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions:**
- Identify and investigate quality issues, analyzing root causes of defects or deviations.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) when necessary.
- Collaborate with production to implement process improvements. 6. **Regulatory and Compliance:**
- Stay updated on regulatory changes (local, national, international) that affect oral care product quality.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. 7. **Supplier Quality Management:**
- Evaluate and audit suppliers for the quality of raw materials and packaging components.
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure continued adherence to quality standards. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Inventory Management:**
- Oversee and manage the inventory of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
- Monitor and control the stock of salt ingredients and other materials used in oral care products.
- Ensure that inventory levels align with production and sales demands to avoid stockouts or overstocking. 2. **Inventory Audits:**
- Perform regular physical and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies between recorded and actual stock levels.
- Prepare and execute detailed internal audits to identify and address any inventory issues.
- Coordinate with the QC Manager to ensure that inventory is stored according to safety and quality standards. 3. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, stock levels, and movement.
- Provide detailed reports on inventory audits, stock turnover, and raw material consumption to senior management.
- Document discrepancies, loss, or damage and report findings to management. 4. **Stock Control:**
- Implement processes for efficient stock rotation, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) systems are followed, particularly for perishable materials.
- Ensure proper labeling and tracking of inventory with barcode systems or ERP software. 5. **Regulatory Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards for inventory storage, particularly for materials used in oral care products.
- Prepare for external audits related to inventory management and product tracking. 6. **Supplier Coordination:**
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, ensuring that there are no delays in production schedules due to stock shortages.
- Track the quality and quantity of incoming raw materials, ensuring that they meet the required specifications before acceptance. 7. **Analysis and Forecasting:**
- Analyze historical consumption data to forecast inventory needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that orders are placed in time to meet production demands without creating excess stock. 8. **Technology Utilization:**
- Utilize inventory management software or ERP systems to track stock levels, manage purchase orders, and forecast material needs.
- Suggest improvements or upgrades to inventory management processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
