Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Azure SQL Server Database Administrator. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Azure SQL Server databases, monitoring database performance, troubleshooting database issues, optimizing database queries, and implementing database security measures. The Database Administrator will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions.
Qualifications
Experience in managing and maintaining Azure SQL Server databases
Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing database performance, Knowledge of database security measures
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Databricks administration (we’re on AWS), this includes cluster management, cluster policy configuration, job tuning and monitoring, etc.
Ongoing fine-tuning of both the Azure SQL Server and Databricks environments to optimize both workload performance and cost to the business.
