ROLE PURPOSE:Facilitates the visa process while ensuring a connected and seamless approach to the service forapplicants across the admissions and visa service. The role comprises visa administration responsible for the day-to-day administration of visa compliance, such as the assistance/creation of issuing of short-term study visa letters, including monitoring attendance in line with Gedu Global Education policies. The right candidate will have approximately 3-6 years of experience processing visa applications for Dubai, the UK or Europe, ideally focusing on Malta.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the visa application process, ensuring that all applications are processed promptlyand efficiently and providing support throughout the admissions and visa service.Conduct research on immigration regulations and policies to ensure compliance and developand implement policies and procedures related to visa processing and compliance.Respond to inquiries from applicants and provide guidance and support throughout the visaapplication process.Create and issue short-term study visa letters to international students, ensuring that allnecessary information is included and that letters are issued in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of visa-related information, including applicant information andvisa application status, and provide regular updates and reports on the status of visaapplications and other visa-related matters.Identify areas for improvement within the visa process and recommend changes to policiesand procedures.Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure a seamless andintegrated approach to the admissions and visa service.Provide guidance and training to colleagues and other stakeholders on visa-related matters.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in immigration regulationsand policies to ensure compliance.To support and cooperate with the broader admission team to ensure the provision of aneffective and efficient visa service for GEDU.Maintain a thorough knowledge of the GEDU admissions policy, includingassessment/selection and entry criteria.
