This role combines high-level content creation with a critical eye for quality control, ensuring all deliverables meet editorial, SEO, and strategic standards. The ideal candidate is a strong content editor with strong knowledge of SEO , AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) , GEO (Geographic SEO) , AI-assisted writing tools , and content performance analytics .Key Responsibilities:Content Writing & StrategyCreate high-quality, engaging, and original content optimized for search engines (SEO), answer engines (AEO), and geographic targeting (GEO).Developing and implementing content strategies aligned with business goals and target audience needs. This includes researching the market, identifying target audiences, and analyzing competitor content strategies.Collaborate with SEO and strategy teams to align content with keyword research, user intent, and search trends.Develop pillar pages, blog posts, website copy, site content, and other marketing assets.Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO) responsibly to augment content ideation and drafting.Quality Control (QC)Review, edit, and proofread content created by junior writers to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy.Enforce content guidelines, brand tone, and best practices.Conduct SEO and readability audits using tools like Grammarly , Ahrefs , Semrush , or Screaming Frog .Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO.Team Leadership & CoordinationMentor and train junior writers and editors.Manage task distribution, deadlines, and review cycles for the content team.Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, marketing, design, and development teams.Create and manage content calendars and reporting dashboards using Google Sheets , Excel , Docs , and Project Management tools .Requirements:2–4 + years of experience in content writing, SEO content strategy, or content marketing.Proven experience in SEO-driven content and quality control/editorial roles.Strong understanding of AI tools , AEO , and GEO SEO strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, etc.Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor a team of writers/editors.Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of digital content trends.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a digital agency or high-volume content production environment.Why Join Us?Work with a fast-growing, forward-thinking digital team.Opportunity to shape and scale high-impact content strategies.Access to premium tools and resources.Collaborative, growth-driven environment.
