Job Description :


As a Data Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's sensitive information and preventing data breaches by implementing and maintaining the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and managing DLP solutions, conducting regular assessments of data security policies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure data protection and :

- Configure policies to control access to files, log changes, and enforce access control on databases.

- Monitor access to databases, database activities, and alert/block unauthorized access/activities.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments on internal assets/devices at defined frequencies and document findings.

- Collaborate with Security Managers, Leadership, and Enterprise IT teams, acting as a bridge between departments.

- Participate in defining and refining security baselines for systems.

- Interact with vendors, researchers, and 3rd parties to collaborate on security issues or processes.

- Develop and maintain security Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Tune various security tools and technologies already in place.

- Provide support for service delivery and operations, including 24/7 operations and project support activities.

Ideal Candidate :

- Proven experience in Data Security.

- Sound understanding of security technologies, common security threats, and industry best practices.

- Strong technical knowledge and experience in Data Loss Prevention, Data Classification Tool.

- Administration experience with Data Loss Prevention tools (Symantec/Forcepoint) and Data Classification Tool (Titus).

- Troubleshoot Endpoint security agent (DLP/DCT) software issues.

- SIEM Event Analysis and manual correlation of events to narrow down the analysis to Threat Vector.

- Experience/knowledge in Database Activity Monitoring and DLP products is a plus.

- Coordination and collaboration with Threat Intel, Incident Response Team, and SOC Analysts.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- 5-8 years of experience in DLP solutions

- One or more security certifications: CEH, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, etc.

- Experience in collaborative environments using agile methodologies.

- Ambitious individual with a creative approach to work and the ability to work under their own direction.

- Proven interpersonal skills and effective time management.

- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
