Role & responsibilities

  • Advise management on latest EHS legal updates and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct plant EHS audits, identify system gaps, and guide management towards remedies.
  • Assess adequacy of existing EHS controls and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and enforce Company's EHS standards; perform compliance audits and ensure fulfillment.
  • Lead risk assessments and environmental Aspect Impact studies, collaborating with plant managers to mitigate critical risks.
  • Champion continuous improvement in overall EHS culture within the plant.
  • Demonstrate hands-on knowledge and experience working with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management Systems.

Preferred candidate profile

  • ADIS with BE (any discipline) is mandatory.
  • Additional qualifications in Environmental Science such as BE/MSc (Environmental) with ADIS are an added advantage.
  • Minimum years of relevant experience in the EHS domain, preferably in manufacturing, process or plant operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Strong exposure to ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional EHS activities and motivate teams.
  • Energetic, proactive, creative, with initiative-taking abilities.
