About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive – IT to manage end-to-end IT tendering, proposals, and bidding processes. The role requires expertise in procurement, documentation, and cross-team coordination to ensure timely and compliant submissions for both government and private sector opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate relevant tender opportunities from government and private e-procurement portals (GeM, CPP, E-Proc, etc.).
  • Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents for IT-related products and services.
  • Prepare, compile, and review tender documentation, including technical and commercial proposals, compliance matrices, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Technical, Legal, Finance) to gather inputs for bid preparation.
  • Monitor and track tender status, manage clarifications, and ensure on-time bid submissions.
  • Maintain a centralized tender repository for records, reporting, and audits.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders for clarifications, updates, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure strict compliance with tender guidelines, legal requirements, and internal policies.
  • Provide support to the pre-sales team in documentation and proposal stages.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in tendering or bid management within the IT sector.
  • Proficiency in e-Tendering platforms (GeM, CPP Portal, E-Proc, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end tender lifecycle (RFP/RFQ analysis, costing, compliance, submission).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and professional communication tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of IT domains: hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, managed services.
  • Experience in Government/PSU procurement and tendering processes.
  • Familiarity with legal and financial aspects of tender contracts.
  • Hands-on exposure to ERP systems for documentation and project tracking.
  • Certifications in public procurement, contract management, or bidding processes (preferred).
