Python Developer – Test Tool Development

We're looking for a motivated Python Developer (0.5–2 years experience) to help build a desktop test tool that runs on host PCs and communicates with embedded target hardware. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of software and hardware, gain exposure to embedded systems, and grow your skills in real-world test automation.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to development of a Python-based desktop application with GUI (PyQt/Tkinter).
  • Work on host-to-hardware communication (UART, USB, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, etc.).
  • Support test automation, result logging, and reporting features.
  • Collaborate with hardware/firmware engineers to execute validation tests.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code under guidance of senior engineers.

What we're looking for:

  • 0.5–2 years of hands-on Python (3.x) experience.
  • Exposure to GUI frameworks (PyQt/Tkinter/wxPython).
  • Basic understanding of hardware communication protocols (UART/USB/CAN).
  • Familiarity with pytest/unittest for testing.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to have (not mandatory):

  • Exposure to embedded C/C++ basics.
  • Knowledge of data visualization (matplotlib, PyQtGraph).
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
