Key Responsibilities:


• Originate Rating Business for the Mid/Large Corporate Group in the designated region.

• Maintain and enhance strong relationships with existing clients and acquire new clients.

• Effectively manage client relationships, addressing challenges and providing customised solutions.

• Identify unrated clients and facilitate their transition from unrated to rated status, assisting them in leveraging ratings for fundraising.

• Increase operational efficiency, and update Sales MIS and CRM.

• Ensure timely completion of commitments, and handle situations such as unavailability of information from clients or bankers.

• Achieve target numbers of mandates and executed cases.

• Maintain the quality of clients acquired and fulfil commitments within the designated timeframe, monitor competitive intelligence, and ensure reporting system efficiency.

• Oversee business growth in various states, track case completion with the rating group regularly.

• Meet quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.

• Develop a business plan including revenue targets, product mix, and margin objectives.

• Organise and participate in knowledge-sharing events with Corporate Clients, Banks & Financial Institutions, and Merchant Bankers.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including trends, business processes, financial measurements, performance indicators, and key competitors.

• Demonstrate dedication to meeting customer expectations and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.



Skills & Competencies:


• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in telephone and internet etiquette, and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Effective in preparing MIS, presentations, reports/summaries.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Experience in the sales domain, client onboarding, relationship building, and acquiring new clients.

• Good understanding of debt markets.

• Thorough product and market knowledge.

• Strong conceptual clarity and understanding of credit ratings, rating exercises, and internal processes.

• Prior experience in business development related to rating/grading products for Equity Capital Markets and/or Debt Capital Markets (NCD/CP/CD/Structured Finance).

• Working knowledge of basic rating/grading products, e.g. Corporate Finance Rating, IPO Grading, Bank Loan Rating, Mutual Fund Grading.
