Job Description — SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Architect (12+ Years Experience) Role Title:SAP MDG Architect / SAP MDG Lead Consultant Experience:12+ Years Location:Coimbatore Employment Type:Full-time / Permanent Role Overview We are seeking a highly experiencedSAP MDG Architectwith 12+ years of IT experience, including strong expertise inMaster Data Governance ,Data Quality , andData Consolidation . The ideal candidate will lead MDG solution architecture, design master data models, manage governance workflows, and ensure high-quality master data across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities SAP MDG Solution Architecture Design and implementend-to-end SAP MDG solutionsfor multiple domains (BP, Customer, Supplier, Material, Finance). Define and customizedata models, UI configurations, validations, and derivations . LeadMDG-F, MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C, MDG-BPimplementations. Data Governance & Quality Establishmaster data governance processes , data validation rules (BRF+), and quality frameworks. Leaddata consolidation , matching, merging, duplicate checks, and harmonization. Ensure compliance withorganizational data standards . Workflow & Process Design Configureworkflow-based Change Requests (CR) , rule-based workflows, and approval hierarchies. Collaborate with business teams for requirement gathering and functional design. Integration & Migration Integrate MDG withSAP S/4HANA, ECC, PI/PO, CPI, MDG-Mass Processing, Data Services . Supportdata migrationactivities: mapping, cleansing, validation, and load. Stakeholder Engagement Work with business leaders, data stewards, and technical teams for governance rollouts. Conduct workshops, user training, and documentation. Project Leadership Lead MDG projects from discovery to go-live. Provide technical governance, issue resolution, and performance optimization. Required Skills & Expertise 8+ yearshands-on SAP MDGexperience (MDG-F/MDG-M/MDG-BP/MDG-S/MDG-C). Strong expertise with: Data Model Enhancements BRF+ Rules & Derivations UI Modeling / Floorplan Manager (FPM) Rule-Based Workflow (BRF+ / NWBC / Fiori) Duplicate Check & Data Quality Management Experience inMDG Consolidation and Mass Processing . Deep knowledge ofBusiness Partner (BP) governancein S/4HANA. Strong experience inSAP integration technologies(IDoc, BAPIs, PI/PO, Web Services, CPI). Ability to designend-to-end governance processes . Understanding ofmaster data standards and data governance frameworks . Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Good-to-Have Skills Experience inSAP Data Intelligence / SAP DS / IS . Knowledge of S/4HANA conversion, greenfield or brownfield programs. Experience in multi-domain MDM strategy. Exposure to Agile project methodologies. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. SAP MDG certification is a plus.
