Key Responsibilities:Accountability and Quality AssuranceAccountable for the quality and integrity of every activity, with precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines, interfacing with multidisciplinary processes.Documentation and ComplianceResponsible for managing QA/QC documents for the entire project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instructions/observations, records of permanent materials delivered, and other critical QA/QC documents.Standards and InspectionsDevelop and determine all standards for performing inspections and tests on all procedures, overseeing all testing methods, and maintaining high-quality standards for all processes.Material Quality and ProcurementReview the quality of all materials on-site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality standards, and collaborate with the procurement department to ensure the quality of materials.Testing and Inspection SupervisionSupervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.Employee Training and ComplianceAssist employees in understanding and adhering to all quality standards, ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain system quality.Equipment and Hazardous Materials ManagementManage the lifting of all equipment, ensure the efficient storage of hazardous materials, and perform quality audits as per the required schedule.System Monitoring and AnalysisMonitor an efficient system for recording all project activities, analyse all processes to ensure they meet quality requirements and manage work methods while maintaining knowledge of quality assurance standards.Continuous Improvement and Corrective ActionsMonitor the continuous application of all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all operations.Safety and Risk ManagementDevelop method statements for activities, including risk assessment, job safety, environmental analysis, Inspection Test Plan, and Checklist based on project specifications.Coordination and CommunicationLiaise with the Site Engineer for the submission of material submittals to the Consultant.Coordinate with the Consultant’s representative and the Site In-charge for inspections.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.15-20 years of extensive experience in quality control within the construction industry.Profound knowledge of construction processes, materials, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Exceptional attention to detail and superior analytical skills.Proficiency in quality control software, project management tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.Certification in quality control or related fields (e.g., ISO, ASQ) is highly desirable.
