Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Train Driver based in Pen. The Train Driver will be responsible for operating trains in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining communication with control centers. Daily tasks include performing pre-and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with rail safety regulations, and handling freight transportation. The Train Driver will also conduct regular training exercises to enhance operational proficiency.

Qualifications

• Rail Operations and Rail Transport skills
• Freight Transportation and Rail Safety skills
• Experience in conducting and participating in Training exercises
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and maintain punctuality
• Previous experience in the rail industry is beneficial
• High school diploma or equivalent certification
