Analytical rigour - Ability to go deep into the why behind every number that moves and frame a strategy or decision based on that insight.


Ability to work hard and fast - We deliver in minutes. Our decision making and execution has to showcase that pace. We are also a business that is heavily operational, so problems and opportunities come up at all times and places.This does not take away from the work we have to do to make the right decisions at pace, or the depth in our understanding of specific functions. We are looking for people who can hustle and hustle well - including in mature functions. We have and expect a very high bar on performance


Healthy ego - We take pride in our work and capabilities and expect detachment from any association with title, designation or work. Everyone here is expected to work on the shop floor and realise that the impact we create only gets magnified when we respect and empathise with the dignity of our people who do the hard physical jobs. It is the confidence and humility of our people that drives our business and culture forward.


Ability to think long-term - The second and third order effects of decisions that we take, show up over long periods of time. This means that we have to think through our decisions at a rapid pace. This requires an orientation towards permanent solves, long term vision for the business or function and enthusiasm for the opportunity we are working with. We are looking for exceptional people, for whom Blinkit is part of their long term career trajectory, who have the ability to take positive decisions that will last beyond their tenure


Exceptional Communication - The only way we can operate at scale, without hierarchy and move at exceptional pace, is if our people communicate fearlessly, often and clearly. We believe this is a non-negotiable life skill in all our functions (even technology, yes) because most roles in the organisation bring with them a need to lead people at some point or to coordinate and bring people along. We judge this both in the quality of written and spoken communication that we have with candidates and also in their ability to articulate hard-to-explain-things.
