Software Technologist I - Java Full stack Developer

Your role:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust healthcare system software within an Agile Scrum team environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Work closely with architects and implement scalable and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare system.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, and adopt best practices, learn new tools, and emerging technologies in healthcare and software development

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a senior software developer in healthcare or related industries.
  • Expertise in software design, architecture, and development using relevant technologies (, Java, React, JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot, AWS, Postgres, Docker).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Having some knowledge of DevOps skills, Terraform script, and DataDog monitoring tools would be a plus.
  • A strong understanding of healthcare data standards, regulations, and interoperability would be a plus.
