What Will You Work On?


We are building a next-gen multiplayer rhythm-based VR game called "District M", currently playable on the Meta Quest 2 / 3 and PSVR 1 / 2, among others


You can see gameplay footage on our Twitter and track us there as we get closer to launch So far, we're delighted to the report that:

  • We launched a free demo on Oculus AppLab, and a lot of content creators / gamers are in love with it - here, here and here
  • Our official game trailer was featured in the UploadVR Summer Showcase, 2022.
  • We've recently become a part of the "PlayStation Partner" program and will soon be working on making our game accessible across VR platforms.


We launched the first free demo of the game on Meta’s AppLab platform in March 2022, and followed that up with an updated demo in November 2022, with as many as 8 playable levels.


Since then, the game has seen over 10,000 downloads and multiple-thousands of hours of playtime.


Responsibilities:


• Conceptualize and iterate intended look, style, and visual feel of the game

• Develop mood boards, storyboards, and sketches to effectively communicate ideas

• Maintain consistency in visual language, keeping in mind VR specific principles

• Leverage design thinking principles to address gameplay aspects in setting the tone of the game

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Proven experience as a Concept Artist, with a strong portfolio 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modelling software such as Blender, 3DSMax, etc. 

• Deep understanding of design principles, UX/UI, and design thinking methodology. Demonstrated interest in and understanding of design in VR/AR 

• Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration with a drive to contribute to and learn from our diverse team.
